We love Sunny, Warm, Sweet, & Salty Beaufort. We look forward to the Pirate Festival, the Old Homes & Gardens Tour, The Beaufort Music Festival, and so many more Events in this charming seaside town. But, do you know what is better than visiting Beaufort?  Living, working, raising a family, being a part of the community, and retiring in Beaufort. In this article, we are laying out the Top 9 Single-Family HOA Communities in Beaufort, North Carolina.

Beaufort Club is located just outside the city limits on Hwy 70 East and boasts a Championship Golf Course, resort-style amenities including a clubhouse, pavilion, swimming pool, hiking, biking, & walking trails, quick access to Crystal Coast beaches and the Beaufort and Morehead City Waterfronts. Priced in the mid 200’s and upwards, construction from 2008 to NEW, $600 Annual HOA Dues.

Beau Coast Cottages & Single-Family Homes are newly constructed, situated just a mile outside of historic downtown Beaufort. Priced in the mid 300’s to low 400’s, $1249 Annual HOA Dues include swimming pool, provision center, kayak barns, community dock, gathering hall and great lawn for events.

Sea Grove is a new, quaint development located just east of Beau Coast offering the charm of Olde Beaufort with the benefit of modern amenities. Cottages & Bungalows Priced in the mid 300’s, $900 Annual HOA Dues.

Eastman Creek, established in the early 2000’s, is a waterfront community located north of Beaufort between N.C. 101 and the Intracoastal Waterway.  Affordably priced in the upper $100’s to mid $200’s and $440 Annual HOA Dues cover a clubhouse, swimming pool, community dock.

Graystone Landing is located about 3 miles north on N.C. 101 from Beaufort.  In this waterfront community, the streets end in cul-de-sacs with small islands in the middle where you will find trees, shrubbery, and a light post. At the end of Wyndchase Lane there is a small roadway that leads to the waterfront common area complete with a dock and sitting area. Priced in the mid $200’s and upwards. $390 HOA Annual Dues.

Howland Rock, a prestigious waterfront community with a community ramp, boat basin, day dock, picnic gazebo, and more.  The entrance is on Hwy 70, just across from the Food Lion grocery store. Most of the homes were custom-built with attention to detail and are priced from the mid $200’s and upwards. $150 HOA Annual Dues.

Palmetto Plantation, suitably named, palmetto trees greet you on both sides of the entrance to this swimming pool community. Located inside the city limits of Beaufort just off Hwy 70, this subdivision features a large pond and common area on the east side with grassy banks that are perfect for an afternoon walk. Affordable homes built in the mid 2000’s range in the mid to upper $100’s and $300 Annual HOA dues.

Jonaquin Landing is located in the South River area of Beaufort.  Rivers, marshes, salt air & tall pines. Enjoy all that eastern North Carolina nature has to offer in this waterfront community featuring a boat ramp, dock, gazebo, and picnic grounds.  Prices start in the $150 range and upwards. $250 Annual HOA Dues.

Sandy Point is located on the north shore of Carteret County along the Intracoastal Waterway. A community that prides itself on white sandy beaches and solitude. Amenities include a beach-front gazebo, a boardwalk, large recreation areas, underground utilities and paved streets. Priced in the mid $400’s and upwards. $450 HOA Annual Dues.
